Terms of Service

These terms describe the rules for using CallerPass, including protected numbers, trusted access, message requests, access controls, app features, billing, and support.

Using CallerPass

CallerPass helps you control who reaches you. You are responsible for using the service lawfully, keeping trusted access appropriate, and avoiding misuse of calls, messages, or protected number features.

Plans and changes

Paid plans may renew until canceled. Features may evolve as we improve CallerPass, including premium protection tools and mobile app capabilities.

Service limits

CallerPass depends on carriers, messaging providers, app stores, and network availability. We work to keep the service reliable, but communication delivery can vary.

Emergency and carrier notices

CallerPass is a protected communication layer and is not a replacement for cellular service. CallerPass is not intended for emergency calling, and you should not rely on CallerPass for 911 access.

Screening, forwarding, message delivery, and verification-message compatibility are not guaranteed. Compatibility varies by carrier, provider, device, and third-party sender.

SMS consent and disclosures

By providing a mobile number, verifying a phone number, enabling protected messaging, submitting a contact request, or otherwise using SMS-enabled CallerPass features, you consent to receive service-related text messages from CallerPass or its providers. These may include verification codes, account notices, security alerts, contact-request updates, protected-line messages, billing notices, and operational notifications.

Message frequency varies based on your account activity, settings, protected-number usage, and interactions with callers or requesters. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any non-SMS product or service where prohibited by law.

You may reply STOP to supported CallerPass SMS messages to opt out of further non-essential SMS messages from that sender where opt-out is available. You may reply HELP for help or contact support@callerpass.com. Some essential transactional or legal notices may still be sent where permitted or required.

This first version is product copy and should be reviewed by counsel before launch.
